העגילים מצפצפים
16.20 ברחבה לפני הקרוסלות הכלוביות זוהמה רבה. במשמרת הקודמת ראינו כיצד פלסטיני שסיגריה נפלה מפיו על הקרקע, נקנס על ידי פקח העיריה על סך 450 ₪ בגין זיהום המקום.
שלושה תורים צפופים בכלובים, גברים ונשים נדחקים זה על זה. אין תזוזה.
נאמר לנו שהנוצרים קיבלו אישורי מעבר לשבועיים אבל בגלל חג הפסח ליהודים והסגר שהוטל על הפלסטינים, אנשים לא יכלו לנצל את האישורים. היום ה-7 לחודש הוא היום האחרון להיתר והם מנסים ליהנות עד כמה שאפשר.

16.43 התחלנו לעמוד בתור הולכי הרגל לכיוון ירושלים. סיפרו לנו שאתמול הגיעו כ-15 גנרלים שעמדו והסתכלו וראו את הצפיפות והעמידה הממושכת, הסתכלו ולא עשו דבר.
בשרוולים מעבירים אחד אחד. יש זמן. בינתיים משוחחים: "אתם תהיו כמו ערבים, רק ניירות ודוקומנטים ושום דבר לא משתנה". "איבדנו תקווה, למה אנחנו יכולים לצפות מכם?" "מתעללים באדם". we don't have freesom". "יש לך ילד בצבא? תתני לילד שלך לעשות דברים כאלה?"
החיילת צועקת ברמקול: "תזוזי אחורה" אבל האישה לא מבינה עברית. אישה סיפרה שעברה כאן קבוצה של חירשים, החיילת צעקה עליהם האישה ניסתה להסביר לה שהאנשים לא יכולים לשמוע. אישה זקנה מתבקשת לשים את כף ידה על המכשיר, החיילת צועקת עליה שוב ושוב והזקנה אינה מבינה מה רוצים ממנה. בינתיים המתח והעצבים מתגברים ומדביקים. חייל וחיילת, ניכר שדעתם זחוחה עליהם, פותחים את הקרוסלה כל פעם לאדם אחד בלבד, בודקים ומקפידים על הפסקה בין נבדק אחד לשני.
נערה מתבקשת לחזור לאחוריה, העגילים שלה מצפצפים. היא מסירה את העגילים מן האוזניים, אך מה תעשה איתם? תעביר אותם על המסוע?
