South of Al-Khadr, served as transit from Bethlehem to Route 60. A concrete block obstruction prevented vehicular traffic from south (Hebron) to Bethlehem and the northern West Bank. A small market developed there to replace the market of Al-Khadr. Taxi ranks on both sides of the obstruction. Usually, no on-site military or police supervision.

07:00 AM, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: three booths were functioning; few people were passing through due to the holiday. 
07:30 AM, Huwwara: roadworks in progress: the road to Beitar Illit is being widened and work is in progress at the crossroads of Road 60. The road to Hussan remains as is, and it is unclear how this will affect the passage toEl-Khadr.
07:45 AM, Al Nashshash: a couple asked for our assistance: the wife is from Mi'iliyah and the husband's permit was taken from him.
08:00 AM, Etzion DCL: Some 25 people were waiting. At 8:15 theDCL was opened but there still was no one at the counter. Gradually, the numberof people waiting increased and there probably were some 50 waiting. At 8:30 the soldiers admitted the first applicants.
8:30 AM, Beit Ummar: at the northern entrance to Halhul (Hawwara), the earthen barriers that had been removed about a month ago were now restored.
9:00 AM, Nabi Yunis: We were asked for assistance by a numberof persons.
