Since 2001 we have observed dozens of army checkpoints on paved and unpaved roads in the West Bank, the Jordan Valley and along the Separation Fence; Civil Administration offices which grant permits to Palestinians; and military courts trying Palestinian prisoners. We stand at the checkpoints observing the behavior of soldiers and Palestinians without interfering, intervening only when soldiers behave offensively to Palestinians. Huwwara – there are 21 cars, two checking stations open. A taxi was observed passing in 10 minutes.
07:30 – 8 people at the CP. Two station are open
Big bags pass through the x-ray machine.
There are a few stalls at the parking lot.
There are complaints from students in the psychometric tests period – that they are stopped twice or mor on their way from and to Ramallah. They will be late for the exams.
08:01 – There are 15 cars at the CP.
