Observers :

Bilha A. Elisheva A. Yonah A. Natanya translating.

The
day after the promises of the Minister of Defence about alleviations
for the Palestinians we passed through all the checkpoints that we know
and the IDs of those entering and exiting were checked by the soldiers

Jubara,
A-Ras.  13.50.

A long line of cars at the checkpoint of Ephraim. A
soldier opened the gate for us to enter Jubara.   Red hollyhocks and
yellow Ironit on the side of the road.  At the children's gate were two
soldiers checking the few pedestrians and cars which were entering
Jubara. At A‑Ras the soldier sitting in the sentry tower  and two
others checking the cars which come from Tulkarm. While we were there
there were no lines in any direction.

14.50
Few cars in either direction. Those coming from Tulkarm are not checked
and at the northern checkpoint those leaving are checked randomly. One
of the
soldiers,  of the compulsory
service ask about what we do and asks questions and listens. Drivers
say that the settlers thrown stones at them south of Jit on the way to
Hawarra. We could not communicate with the shift at Hawarra.
