Since 2001 we have observed dozens of army checkpoints on paved and unpaved roads in the West Bank, the Jordan Valley and along the Separation Fence; Civil Administration offices which grant permits to Palestinians; and military courts trying Palestinian prisoners. We stand at the checkpoints observing the behavior of soldiers and Palestinians without interfering, intervening only when soldiers behave offensively to Palestinians. Then we try to speak to the soldiers themselves or telephone...

At the junction one car was parked. The passengers, eight in number, were asked to leave the car and were arranged in a line.
The soldiers slowly checked the luggage compartment, and in the course of the checking all the parcels that were in the car were taken out.
A few minutes after we reached the place the checking process ended and the passengers were allowed to pass.
09:00 Huwwara CP
The place was empty. Near the CP there were two military policemen, one of them asked us to
remove ourselves to the junction area.
09:30 – Before the village of Funduq two soldiers stopped a truck. The passengers were detained for ten minutes.
