Total  'balagan ' due to construction of new checkpoint. Traffic in both directions restricted to one lane , resulting in huge traffic delays. Intense heat , coupled with lack of manpower, water , toilets --- result , total frustration, anger and hostility.

Nonetheless, within less than 40 minutes a remarkable movement of vehicles.
Less than amicable reception on part of soldiers manning the checkpoint. Excessive heat, events on King David Street,--- who knows ?
