מאז 2001 אנו משקיפות מדי יום בעשרות מחסומי צה"ל הנמצאים בתוך הגדה, בבקעת הירדן, על גדר ההפרדה, בכבישים ראשיים ובדרכי עפר צדדיות; במשרדי המינהל האזרחי (מת"קים) שם מונפקים לפלסטינים אישורים שונים; בבתי משפט צבאיים בדיונים של עצירים פלסטינים. הצוות שלנו שוהה במחסום ככל הנדרש ועוקב אחרי התנהלות החיילים והפלסטינים, ללא הפרעה. לעיתים, לנוכח יחס בוטה וקשה אל הפלסטינים, יש ואנו מנסות להתערב באמצעות פנייה ישירה אל החיילים או בטלפון למפקדיהם. הדוחות מהתצפיות מתפרסמים באתר זה בעברית ובאנגלית.

6.50 - היום גערה בנו המשטרה והסתירה את המציאות והראיות מעצמה. המחסום עמוס מאד לאחר שני ימי סגר.
תורים ארוכים מנשוא , איך יגיעו כולם לעבודה ולבתי הספר ולבתי החולים.ליד שער הנשים והילדים אשכול של ממתינים ושקט שורר בכל.האקומנים כאן מחמש בבוקר ולדבריהם כך זה נראה כל הזמן,השערים נפתחים לעתים רחוקות ולזמן קצר מאד .אין דחיפות וזעם , רק צער. חיכינו כעשר דקות ובמשך הזמן הזה לא נפתח אף שער . שיחת בקשה למוקד ההומניטרי הניבה מיד את פתיחתו של אחד השערים.נראה שהיום יומו של משטר ההמעטה - קודם נגמור את הבדיקות בשרוולים ואז נכניס את הקבוצה הבאה. המדיניות באשר לפתיחתו של שער הנשים והילדים סתומה לחלוטין - למה נותנים להם לחכות עם ילדים על הידיים, ובינתיים שועטים צעירים ותופסים את מקומם בתוך השרוול
למה דווקא הם , הקשישים שבקושי הולכים , ילדים קטנטנים ואימהות עם תינוקות ופעוטים על ידיהן צריכים לעבור שני שערי ברזל.
כחצי שעה לאחר בואנו , בשבע וחצי ,שוב תורים ארוכים בחוץ, וליד שער הנשים, בפנים היה כמעט ריק. שיחה נוספת למוקד פתחה מיד שערים.
בסביבות 8.00 התמעטו מאד התורים , רק שער הנשים עמוס מאד ואינו נפתח כבר זמן רב. מדי פעם מגיע קצין מת"ק ובודק אישורים , אך איך יפלס בעל האישור את דרכו בין הממתינים הרבים ויתקרב אל השער? ולמה הנשים והילדים ממשיכים לחכות בעמידה ממושכת כשכל שאר התורים כמעט נגמרו?. שיחה נוספת למוקד פותחת את השער לכמה דקות וכולם נכנסים באנחת רווחה.
ב - 8.10 אולם ההמתנה כמעט ריק, ואז יוצא אלינו קצין המת"ק, מציג עצמו ושואל מדוע אנחנו מתקשרות למוקד כשבחוץ אין כלל תור.
מאחוריו עומדים שני קציני משטרה , רב פקד ניגש אלינו ומדגיש את שאלותיו בטון שונה לחלוטין, למה אנחנו מפריעות , מתקשרות כשהכל בסדר , עובדה - אין תורים כלל , אנחנו יכולות לצלם ! (את האולם הריק). את שמו ,לדבריו, הוא לא חייב לתת לי.
זה היה היום שהיה , השני במרץ , למחרת חג הפורים.
