Ezyon DCO, El Kahdr, CP 300
BEthlehem And Surroundings– Monday, May 30,05 PMobservers: Shlomit S., Yael S. (reporting)Occupation: Yucchhh WE drove directly to the Ezyon DCO. There we met three young men whose IDs were taken from them at CP 300 and they were summoned for interrogation at the GSS at Ezyon. One of them arrived at 5 am. We called the army center that deals with those waiting for the GSS and slowly they were called in–first those without the IDs and then the others. The men summoned for investigation said that if they don’t come to this meeting, the army arrives at their homes at 2 am and summons them again. They also told us that their friend came out of the interrogation wounded and beaten. Since we personally did not encounter this case, we passed this story on to the army center for investigation.A young man whose mother underwent an operation at Hadassah hospital today needed a revision of the permit that was given for three days from today instead of for today for some reason. Shlomit called Guy at the DCO about this. Two church workers were denied a permit despite the fact that the ministray of interior requested them. A GDD detainee was referred to Firas Almi from the Civil Rights Organization. A family reuninification case was referred to the MOked and another complaint was also referred to the MOked. Two or three people who got magnetic cards got our congradulations. After over two hours at the DCO we returned to El Khadr and saw a jeep on the hill near the pillbox but the traffic was livily as usual and there was no space to park so we went on to check out what was going on at CP 300.There we saw many detainees:1-6 detainees in the inside of the CP where we could not approach.2-one detainees at the shed outside the CP on our side. The BP told us that they are illegally present inside Israel.3-From the interrogation room a hand cuffed Palestinian came out and it seems that he is about to be arrested.4-a “blue-green” couple–the woman with a blue ID and the man with a green ID with their two year old son waited for over four hours to get their car that was confiscated because the man drove it and as we know, he is not allowed!!!!!!! WE informed the army center about all the cases and they did their best to deal with them. When we left at 16:20 we saw no improvement.
