Jubara and Anabta, Saturday AM, April 8, 2006 Observers: Ruthi Ts., Yael V., Odelia S. (reporting) Jubara, 08:40 – It’s rather quiet at Jubara. Nobody is leaving Tulkarm. Only a few taxi drivers are waiting. Inside the village it’s quiet, too. From the Schoolchildren’s Gate CP, one can see the established checkpoint on the road south, where a few cars are waiting.Anabta, 08:50 – Young men, residents of Tulkarm and Jenin, are not allowed to leave town. It seems that they are unaware of the instruction, because there are quite a few who try and the soldier sends them back. There are about 20 people in the line of those who want to leave. Women, children and old people pass without difficulty. Some of the people are allowed to pass, but on foot, without their vehicles. The entrance to Tulkarm is smooth and nobody is waiting.
