A worker employed in Shahak Industrial Area complains that they have to go through the thorough check each day anew.06:45 – all are through.The checkpoint commander approached us to promise that the break would not be longer than three quarters of an hour. We asked to change the morning break routine, but in his opinion it is impossible.A man says that he works producing charcoal in the seam zone. The work is very hard and he tries to work long hours in order to make a decent living. He walked an hour from home to the checkpoint.We got a warm blessing from a “patriotic” woman from Mevo Dotan: “A bomb should blow up in your faces. He wanted to cross at Aanin, but that’s closed, so he walked to Rihan arriving at 09:15. Says that the most important thing in life is to work. Insists that he has never broken the law, is a man of peace, but the reality in which he lives is such that it would be preferable to die.A taxi full of young women cannot cross to the Palestinian side because the driver forgot his ID card.The break begins at 09:00. We leave at 09:30, before it ends. Afterwards we are told, over the phone, that it ended at 09:50.
