As a result we discovered a different view of our beat, but also missed some destinations because of the early hour.Abu-Dis: 06:45 – The street along the wall is empty. Both Pishpashes are sealed. Two soldiers are stationed at each to prevent crossing.Al-Ezariya: 07:10 – No checkpoint at the exit from Al-Ezariya, passage is free. Many youths wait (for work, it seems) by the road going to Ma'ale Adumim.The Container: 07:20 – Traffic is flowing in both directions. From time to time a vehicle or two from the direction of Bethlehem is stopped to check and register documents.DCO: 08:00 – Everything is closed, probably due to the early hour.Hizme checkpoint: 08:15 A long line of cars, two tracks, thorough checking.
