Most of the waiting people were belong to the church and came to get the permit to enter to Jerusalem for the Holyday. The permits were given in Bethlehem DCO and passed to Ezion DCO for approval. Mahar was not there. A sign says that the window will be closed till 15/1/06 at 12:00 O’clock. Al-Khader: We stop at the junction. An army jeep made a random checking – the soldiers called people by chance and told them to open their coats and show the I.D. Bethlehem CP 300 – 17:30: The CP was almost empty. We went around, got into the terminal facility and stopped at the Carousel. On the way back the “security manager” chased us. His name is Yoav, we know him from CP 300. He barked at us that we are not allowed to get into the new terminal – Is it true? Who agreed about that?

    • Al-Khadr served as transit from Bethlehem to Route 60. A dirt mound prevent vehicular traffic from and to Bethlehem from the west. A small market developed there. Taxi ranks were on both sides of the obstruction. It was replaced by a similar obstruction at Al Nashash which has recently been removed and thus the way from Bethlehem to Hebron through Route 60 is now free.
