This checkpoint was erected after the cancellation of the previous Falamiya checkpoint, which was open for 12 consecutive hours after the separation fence was moved west following the High Court.
Used by the residents of Jayyus whose checkpoint near their village has become seasonal, and also by the residents of Palamia whose lands are in its vicinity.
