Judge: Lieut. Col. Menahem Lieberman

Police Investigator: Ziad Katish

Defense: Judd Kadamani

There are 6 cases in the docket: one detainee is barred from seeing counsel; two are minors and in two cases an agreement has been reached.

The first case was of the “barred” detainee

Mahmoud Yussef Mahmoud Al Amor – ID 859694994

He was arrested on 12.2.17 and is barred from seeing counsel until 15.2.17.

The police requests 11 additional days for the investigation.

We witnessed an exchange between the prosecution and the defense.

We were required to leave the court when the detainee was admitted. The Investigator, the judge and the interpreter remained in court.

The attorney was also required to leave.

The charge: Activity threatening security in the region. The arguments are contained in the secret file.

Following a few general questions the defense summed up its position: it objected to the exorbitant motion by the police. The attorney reported that his client denies the allegations and has already given testimony to the police. He moved for a reduction of days of investigation and asked the court to verify the detainee’s physical condition.

Judge’s decision: 11-days remand extension.

Akrame Odat Alla Muhammad Al Amor – ID 854077674

The police requests 11 additional days.

The suspicion: Popular terrorism and activity threatening security in the region.

The defense sumed up (with no questions):

This is the first remand extension. The respondent is cooperating with the interrogators. He is about to give a statement to the police; he denies the additional allegations that the police is trying to pin on him.

The detainee suffers from severe allergy “like bites all over his body and a general rash”. He has informed the interrogators about his condition and they need to consider it and provide the necessary treatment.

The defense moved to reduce the number of days.

Judge’s decision: 11-day remand extension.

Muhammad Hassin Odeh Bargouti – ID 405564576

There is agreement between the sides on additional four days of interrogation and of on transferring the case to the prosecution.

Sharif Muhammad Sharif Abu Hassin  - ID 401101423

There is agreement on 4 additional days.

There were 2 more cases, but we could not attend because the detaineesinfo-icon were underage.
