It was hard to follow the hearings. In the hallway the two sides reached an agreement.

The hearings of detainees who are barred from seeing their attorneys took place while waiting for the detainees, who were brought in at a slow pace (to save time).

The detainee is accused of throwing rocks and firebombs, membership and activity in an illegal organization and providing services to said organization.

This is his second remand extension.

 

The defense went straight to summation: Apparently, there is progress in the investigation and there is a police statement.

The defense asks the judge to take those facts into consideration and also the harsh conditions of the detention and the detainee’s mental suffering.

A: Hamas. He was under administrative detention. There are new allegations and he was arrested again on 25.10.

Defense’s summation:

Requests significant reduction in the number of days. The detainee is barred from seeing his attorney; in order to preserve his rights, we request shortening the duration of the investigation.

 

We leave the court with the attorneys; the detainee is brought in to be examined by the judge, in the presence of the investigator and an interpreter.
