Morning

Translation: Bracha B.A.

Reihan c.p, 06:55
There is one van in the upper parking lot.  The vehicle checkpoint is still closed.  Israeli flags are flying.
An armed member of the checkpoint staff is walking around the new compound.  He looks as if he is scanning the area.  What have they built there on the east side of the road?

07:00: The checkpoint staff are on their way to their positions, all dressed in their blue uniforms.  The announcement:  “Good morning.  Passage is beginning” sounds and the yellow gate opens.

07:08
The first people are coming out of the sleeveinfo-icon at the entrance to the terminal and report “Everything is OK today.”  The line at the entrance to the terminal is also short as well as the exit from the rooms.  A. drives back and forth bringing 5-7 passengers each time.  After 20 minutes they are outside.
Inside the terminal the partition is closed.  One window is operating.  Another one is operating between 07:45 and 07:55.

In the vehicle inspection shed things are as usual.  There is no line of cars waiting.  There are four tenders in the upper parking lot.

We left at 08:20.

Shaked c.p 08:30 – 08:45
One car passes through.  One family passes through.  The announcement regarding “Entry and exit through the crossing points” is taped to the railing of the “station” and mentions “our” checkpoints.
