Afternoon
Wadi Nar

When we arrived at Wadi Nar at about 2:40, it was almost empty of vehicles.  Within minutes, the place filled up as people wanted to get home for the end of the fast.  Once again, the northern intersection was mobbed as one driver tried to outmaneuver the next and there were countless near collisions.  It would have made so much sense to station one of the border police there to direct traffic.

Unlike last week, the checkpoint functioned with efficiency while randomly stopping cars.  All i.d,'s were returned within minutes and the cars allowed to go on.

We noticed no workers  being dropped off to pick up transits heading south during the time that we were there.

When we left, at about 4:00 p.m.,  there were still long lines of vehicles but they were moving quickly.
