13;00 -Tysere checkpoint
On the way over we saw some new road signs - warnings of mines.
Children who return home from school run on the road after crossing the checkpoint yelling at us "Shalom". They all crowd into a car which was waiting for them.
"The soldiers are good today" reports the driver. We hear similar remarks from passengers of other cars. There is no waiting today, all go through swiftly.
14:15 - Hamara checkpoint
A truck driver tells us that he is from Abu-Gosh. He is sent back from the checkpoint, not allowed to go through. He does not understand how he can get to Nablus and is asking us. He has no permit of any sort.
