Morning
Shaked-Tura checkpoint
09:15 - 10:05
Only a few peple. Everything flows along smoothly.

Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint
10:15 - 11:50
Six loaded trucks had entered the inspection area and came out after an hour. The car park area is packed with cars.
About 20 drivers wait. Due to the rain many workers return from the Seanline zone. Agriculture work is impossible.

Among those crossing the checkpoint was a 22-year-old fellow who was brought from the Haifa area as an illegal alien. He claims that his 15-year-old brother has been inside the terminal for two hours, and hasn't been released because he has no identity papers. We tried asking S. who is in charg and he said that there is no one inside the terminal for more than 15 minutes and there is no youth who fits such a description there.

S. continued talking with us over the telephone and we kept accumulating details about the missing kid, who was no where to be found. The worried family called the older brother and again he turned to us. S. suggested that perhaps that young boy had already gone through and his name wasn't registered correctly. That notion also occured to the shift manager, who said that the kid may have been released a while ago.

After quite some time we were told by the family that the kid called saying that he was sent from the Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint to cross at Jubara checkpoint, since he could not cross here.
The family calmed down.
Puzzling.
