Morning
We were surprised to see that the road from Rihan to the turn to Shaked is under construction; It is being widened, paved, and its shoulders are being fixed.

09:10 - Shaked-Tura checkpoint
Today the Magnometer inside the inspection cabin is out of order, therefore inspection is done outside.

Very few had gone through and they were inspected by many soldiers.

Between 10:00 - and 12:00 the checkpoint is closed for a break.
We drove slowly to the Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint due to the road work. Police regularizes traffic , causing a traffic jam.

10:20 -Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint
Two cars drove through from the Seam Line zone into the West Bank. On the opposite direction , on the road five trucks  waited to get inside for inspection.

Drivers at the Palestinian car park area seemed frustrated. They have no livelihood. The relief that have helped some, had worsened their own condition. They tell us that long ago they used to work in Israel and could make a living.
Sad.

By the entrance to the terminal from the Palestinian car park area there is a sign in Arabic "A door for the handicap" so that they would not have to go through the carousel.
We left the checkpoint with a bad feeling.

Going home we drove through East Barta'a. Over there the feeling is different. The market place is noisy and happy.
