Mu’in (denied a permit by the GSS) arrives, signs papers, kisses the banknotes
before giving them to us and Karin films him with a video camera, in Hebrew and in Arabic.

Huwwara. Traffic flows in both directions. No unusual events. Polite soldiers
come over to find out what we’re doing here.
