Beit 'Inun, Bethlehem, Etzion DCL, Nabi Yunis, Mon 13.12.10, Morning
Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300, 07:15 AM: three positions open, few people, according to them passage today is reasonable, takes about half an hour.
07:40 AM, Husan : nobody there. Cars travel on the muddy dirt road to the underground passage. Surprise - snow alongside the road and the white fields are beautiful as usual.
07:50 AM, Etzion DCL: pouring rain. About twenty people waiting outside in the bitter cold. People are waiting since early morning from fear that they would not be let in because of the pressure. On the phone a sergeant major answered that they would build a roof for them and somebody in the background added - you build for them.
08:45 AM, Beit ‘Inun: nothing new. The large rock barrier on western Route 60 only allows passage on foot.
09:00 AM, Nabi Yunis: one man reached us to take vouchers. Others did not come because of the stormy weather. We also hurried back...
