Morning

07:45 - 09:00 Shaked-Tura checkpoint

Very few people went through. One of them, a resident of the Seam Line zone, told us that his married daughter lives in the West Bank. Until now she used to come and visit her parents at the Seam Line zone. Recently her husband has been denied passage and he can no longer join the family visits, not even on holydays.

09:10 - 10:15 Reihan-Barta'a checkpoint

The Palestinian medical service vehicle was waiting at the vehicle's inspection post. This time the car and its crew went through without any problems. Merchants arrive as usual.

There was a line in front of the entrance gate to the terminal; the female inspector at the booth apparently did not notice it. People pushed the gate, which wouldn't open. One of those waiting whistled. The inspector began yelling rudely, using that same scolding manner of speech towards others as well.

We drove back through Barta'a. The market street was busy with shoppers.
