Jalama, Reihan, Shaked, Mon 13.6.11, Afternoon
We take along Aya, back from a treatment at Ranb"am hospital to the Jalama checkpoint She appears to be in a bad shape.
We observed a great deal of work on site. We wonder if work is also invested in the welfare of the Palestinians and whynot abolish the checkpoint all together?
The time is15:45, we hurry to the Aa'neen checkpoint but it is already closed.
16:00 Shaked checkpoint
4-5 soldiers are in charge of the post. 4-5 Palestinians cross over.
Passage is relatively swift.
16:15 Reihan checkpoint
Dripping of those returning from work . all is as usual at the checkpoint.
We've asked those working in Israel how was it in the morning at the Reihan-Barta'a checkpoint, their answer was "ok".
For thosearriving from Jenin we asked how does the town look like these days and they reported that restaurants are "exploded" by Israeli diners.....
16:30More people show up on site and another window is opened, entrance is quick.
