08:30 – 09:30 Shaked-Tura checkpoint

A dozen of inspectors from the West Bank arrived at the checkpoint on their way to visit schools in the Seam Line zone. Their driver says that they began crossing over at 08:00. At the time of our arrival five inspectors waited in the car for the other seven. Only by 08:50 the last one went through.

There were also a few more people who crossed over, among them families with tiny infants.

09:40 – 11:00 Reihan-Barta'a checkpoint

A few drivers waited for passengers at the Palestinians car park and complained of lack of work.

Whoever arrived from the West Bank, usually merchants and workers of East Barta'a, went straight into the terminal and crossed over.

Those without passage permits don't even bother to arrive at the gate.

There were only three trucks and two pickup trucks loaded with vegetables waited in front of the vehicles' checkpoint on their way to the Seam Line zone.

They've entered the inspection post at 10:30.
