06:00 'Anin Checkpoint 214
Some of the veteran farmers, whom we've been meeting here for years, did not come today because their permits to the seam zone haven't been renewed for the last two, three weeks. When will they be renewed? The Palestinian DCO claims they've forwarded their names to the Israeli DCO and the Israeli DCO does not bother to explain to those who call or come to find out, why the permits weren’t renewed yet. Not renewing the permits in time is one of the most prevailing and difficult problems in the agriculture checkpoints. An instrument of torture which always causes concern and anger among the Palestinian farmers who must go out and work their lands.

07:00 Shaked-Turah Checkpoint 300
Just a few go out to work in the seam zone and even fewer cross to the West Bank.

07:30 Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint
Pedestrian traffic is in one direction only - from the West Bank to the Seam Zone. There are no delays.

08:05 Tayba-Rummana 154
A tractor driver and two or three people are waiting on the eastern side of the checkpoint. Until 08:15 the army did not come to open the checkpoint.
We called the Advanced Command Post of DCO; they said they are on their way. We did not wait since Neta was in a rush to get to Jalama and transport a patient to Rambam Hospital.
