Morning

06:05  A'aneen agriculture checkpoint

The checkpoint is open, soldiers are at the lower side of the checkpoint and away from our location. By the noise we can guess that a lot of people are waiting.

06;10  a Jeep arrives and parks at the checkpoint. Soldiers get in position in the middle of the checkpoint. One soldier  climbs on top of the concrete block in the center, holding his gun pointed to A'aneen. Now all is ready to open the gatesinfo-icon.

06:14  The first  person comes out. According to him there are about 100 people waiting, many  tractors too. Women come out. They appear in a jolly mood, loaded with baskets, sitting in one of the tractors' platforms.

Once exit has begun the tempo grows faster. We were told that on the last Friday and Saturday the checkpoints were close. Many people arrived in vain. The Israeli DCO did not answertheir phones and the Palestinian DCO did not know the reason for that.

07:05 Tura-Shaked checkpoint

The checkpoint was opened an hour ago, at 06:00. Three man who had gone through were not aware that it opened earlier . Accidently there arrived earlier and so, had crossed over at such an early hour. A., an officer from the DCO, who had crossed the checkpoint , said that a message regarding the change of hours was sent to the authorities who were supposed to notify residents.

The garbage container was emptied but nobody bothered to clean around it.

Until 07:30 about 30 people had crossed in the direction of the Seam Line zone.

07:35  Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint

About 10 loaded pickup trucks waiting on the road for inspection of the goods. There are more trucks waiting at the car park. Workers stream into the checkpoint and come out from the terminal up the car park.

A usual routine of the checkpoint.

07:40  We left.
