Morning

6:00 – 7:45

6:00  Barta'a – Rihan checkpoint

We were welcomed this morning by a sign that read :"Kulo sababa el yum" (All is well today). Yes, we are aware that passage permits is a source of happiness and those who are denied such permits, even not to the Seam Line zone, thus cannot make a living, are also denied option to express their feelings…..

The well attired and smiling Seamstresses, and male workers hurry up to their transportation to Barta'a. About 15 trucks wait for the opening of their inspection post and the Kiosk owner from Hermesh (Bonjour patrol) asks us if the Arab coffee that we drink is better than his coffee.

7:05 Tura-Shaked checkpoint

The site was open on time this morning and traffic streams along without delays on both sides.
