A Ram was quiet and the passage was smooth. Qalandya was an entirely different story: Qalandya south had a long queue of people trying to pass from the south in the direction of Ramallah. The procedure was very slow. 2 older volunteer =were civil but not very efficient. At Qalandya North there was a very long queue of cars and many many people crowded in the concrete lanes behind high net fences. The soldiers (paratroopers) were rude and acted arbitrarily. Taxis were allowed between A RAM and Qalandya but later, after we left, all the taxis were forced to pass over to the north.
