13.9.04 pmDCO Ezion, Al-KhaderMonday, 13.09.2004, pm Watchers: Ora S., Tali S. (reporting)4:30 – DCO Ezion – As we parked the car three people approached us, asking for help. They’ve been sent back and forth even though they have all the documents and have paid all their traffic fines. They didn’t understand why. We didn’t either and tried to call the officers but got no reply. At Haya O.’s request we asked about the policeman and were told that he was there between 13:00 to 16:00, but as there were over 80 people, he didn’t get to all of them. There are signs with his work hours above his window and on the notice board at the far end of the room.Inside the DCO there were 4 people who all got permits. A young guy was there to get permits for his family to visit the father who has had heart bypass surgery in Bikur Hollim hospital and will be hospitalized for 10 days. M. took good care of him and he got permits for 3 days for several family members. The papers are only for day time, although the hospital requested that a family member stay with the father at night. After the 3 days he will have to come back to the DCO for more permits. (we wondered how they will get to the hospital on Rosh Hashanah day)5:45 – Al Khader – everything seemed routine
