Morning

Tapuah Junction
6:45-
The passengers of two buses were taken off so that their IDs could be inspected. One of the passengers told us that he when he leaves his home at Awarta at 5:30 he reaches Ramala only at 8:30, after passing through 3 to 4 checkpoints.

Beit Furik
7:30- There was a long line of people at the checkpoint. According to our calculations it took 20 minutes in average for one person to pass. People used the "fast lane". Nine cars were waiting to pass at the parking lot.

Awarta
8:00- There were many trucks on both sides of the passage. A sign that commerce was taking place.

Huwwara
8:34-
Few people were at the checkpoint. Golani soldiers. The parking lot was full of people, cabs and buses.

Nothing that was out of the usual for the occupation had taken place all morning.
