Morning
06:20 - 09:00
Translation: Y. Bassis-Student
06:20 - A'anin checkpoint
There are about 50  people waiting, passage is relatively swift, soldiers are efficient and we meet smiling people.
It is strange though that inspection of goods is done on the ground, they could provide a table or use the concrete block.
07:00 - Shaked-Tura checkpoint
Gate way to the West Bank (or, on the other side of the fence) there are about 25 people waiting.
A few school children cross over from the Sean Line zone to school at Tura on the West Bank.
Passage is in order, traffic streams along.
07:30 - Rihan-Barta'a Checkpoint
(as always) there are new developments: At the entrance to the terminal on the Palestinian side ,banisters were installed for sorting out entrance and exit. One side is wider than the other to enable passage of wheelchairs.
We are told that the terminal is run by civilians only.
Many people cross over from the West Bank to Barta'a. A woman who lives near the checkpoint requests our assistance; Her house as well as her sons'  has no electricity, her husband is old and disabled and they suffer hardships.
