Morning

10:15 - Rihan-Barta'a checkpoint.Very little traffic. One car wait to cross over from the Seam Line zone into the West Bank. Four people went up the sleeveinfo-icon, passage time is 5-10 minutes. At the Palestinian car park area there are only two pickup trucks with a little merchandise. Within a few minutes they drove inside for inspection. At the exit of the Riha-Barta'a checkpoint they arm of the vehicles' checkpoint was not raised for us. We were approached by a man who introduced himself as a mbeing from Customs and insisted on inspecting both our cars.

11:45 - Shaked-Tura checkpoint
. The gate is reopened following a break. Today a school vacation has begun and therefore there are no school children going through. A few cars drive through from the West Bank into the Seam Line zone. Our acquaintance, the owner of the donkey and buggy has asked to inform us that although the olive picking season is over, there is still maintenance work that needs to be done in the olive groves . There are hardly any agriculture work permits. Only those who own the land, usually the elderly in the family, receive such permits but alas they can no longer work.
