Morning

07:15 Shaked-Tura checkpoint

Some 20 people are waiting to get through to the seamline zone.  The last ones went through at 8:20, after waiting for over an hour.  The passage from the seamline zone to the West Bank was quicker.

The small students, about five years old, are also requested to pass through the soldier's stand on their way to the kindergarten and the school in Tura in the West Bank.

The drivers, who are permitted to go through the checkpoint to the seamline zone with their cars, are checked in the stand before the cars were inspected.  It seems like the security check regulations have become more severe.

8:30 Riehan-Barta'ah checkpoint

Two cars are waiting to pass from the seamline zone to the West Bank.

Four vans piled with vegetables are waiting at the Palestinian parking lot.

Seven cars are waiting at the vehicle checkpoint in order to pass over to the seamline zone.  All seven are brought into the inspection at once.

The security company operating the checkpoint has been replaced.

9:45 – I left the checkpoint.
