Two detainees, one from Hebron who wants to get home. They do not have work permits. We are told that the police have been called in because of them. Two soldiers and the commander man the checkpoint. Now and again an Israeli car is stopped and workers get out who have permits, not only from Azzun Atma, but also from other places and after their IDs are checked they are allowed to go through. Sometimes a line forms.

The detainees inform us by phone that they were released at 17.30.
