16.00  - 14.50

Highway 611 - About every minute a car stops on the side of the road to let off workers returning from work in Israel and from the Seamline Zone.  Some of the workers cross through the breach in the fence opposite the small settlement of Luxor where there is a large parking lot that grows from day to day.

Others pass through another breach on the security road that leads to the Palestinian parking lot of Barta’a Checkpoint. People come out from the two breaches at the same time from the West Bank in the direction of Israel.  A woman from Shechem arrives via the breach on her way to work in Nazareth.

Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint - The upper parking lot is empty and most of the workers who return from work in Israel, arrive by bus transport, not by private cars.  Apparently, more and more people prefer to cross via the breaches so that the passage is a bit faster.

Two Israeli police cars park in the parking lot. One transit leaves and the second stays to fine the Palestinian drivers waiting for passengers, for traffic violations, and for driving while holding a phone.

Tura-Shaked Checkpoint - Two cars with passengers pass to the West Bank and one car travels to the West Bank via a road that bypasses the checkpoint.  There are few pedestrians.

Anin Checkpoint - This agricultural checkpoint wasn’t opened today because M., the only one who drives a tractor, didn’t come to work today.  There is activity beyond the breached road nearby.
