Morning

06:30 – Anin Checkpoint

The checkpoint is opened exactly on time and about 90 people leave for work quickly.  Four tractors also leave. One man is returned because his permit was for another checkpoint.  Another man turned to us who was conditionally prohibited by police and he hasn’t succeeded in renewing his permit.  Neta referred him to Tammy.  Everyone passed through by 06:55 but the checkpoint still remains open.

07:10 – Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

Today is Thursday and therefore the checkpoint was opened only at 07:00 (Why??).  However, we were told that yesterday also, the checkpoint was opened only at 07:00 instead of at 06:30 and that yesterday the passage was very slow.  Today the workers go out quickly; cars pass in two directions.

07:15 - Pupils begin to arrive.  They pass through quickly without entering the inspection room.

07:30 -All the workers have passed through

07:30 – Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

There are few people who go up the sleeveinfo-icon and the upper parking lot is already almost empty of people.

There are many vans and a truck with merchandise begins to organize to enter for inspection.  In the lower parking lot workers arrive and enter the terminal immediately.  In the shed there is a group of students from East Barta’a who are traveling for an outing in Ramallah.
