Morning

5:55 – 07:10 – Barta’a Checkpoint

The upper parking lot in the Seamline Zone is teeming with people and vehicles.  Many workers go up from the terminal and some of the sit next to the kiosk and drink coffee.  In the lower parking lot, there is no line and the workers enter in groups of 40-50.

06:15 - Five inspection windows are open in the terminal and there is considerable quiet in the traffic that exits. There are rumors of coming renovations and of building a shed in the lower parking lot.

06:40 – Tura Checkpoint

The checkpoint is already open.  There are few people coming out to the Seamline Zone and we don’t see a line next to the turnstile.  Cars pass from the West Bank side at a fast pace and pick up those workers waiting for them.  Pupils are on vacation.
