Morning

07:20-07:50   Turah-Shaked checkpoint

Peak traffic in both directions, with no delays. There is a lot of movement today. No one is waiting at the turnstile.

08:00-08:30    Barta’a-Reihan checkpoint

Here, too, there is a lot movement for a Saturday.  And there are delays:  those coming out tell us that only two windows are open; crowds are inside the terminal, some waiting for an hour. A usual lately, one wing of the door is closed and we cannot see the situation next to the windows.  But we did see one man standing opposite a window, being told that he was refused and couldn’t pass.  We measured on average 20 minutes.  We continue to hear stories of cancelled permission to pass.

On the roads –the spill is blooming, the tobacco is ripening and being harvested in the fields, and only the occupation goes on and doesn’t go away.
