We were in the hills west of Farisiya. Farisiya extends along the road west of the Rotem settlement. Accompanying the herd passed calmly, and included a few cycles of rain, a strong wind on the hills and a heavy layer of mud on the soles of the shoes and around them.

This photo illustrates the shepherd's preference: Despite the weather conditions he prefers to go to distant pasture because we, the escorts, were with him. In such weather, I argued, we would not meet abusive settlers. Nitzan who is experienced says one never knows.
