A well at a house located close to Hamra checkpoint was destroyed by the army 3 years ago and filled with garbage and stones. Now the Palestinians have no other option but to buy water and carry it from other places.

This man's house, located close to Hamra checkpoint. The house was demolished by the army 5 years ago and then again 3 years ago. He claims that he owns the land, however, he has no acess to his documents since they are kept in Jordan. Now he is building a new house made of mud bricks.

The checkpoint is closed for at least 30 min. due to a visit of Chabad members serving dougnuts to the soldiers and dancing with them. No one crosses the checkpoint as long as the visit continues.
