Sansana-Meytar crossing
We cross at 7:30, but all the laborers have gone through.
Route 60
Rain and fog, no army, no checkpoints, no people – and its cold.
Hebron
Cold and rainy, schools on vacation, no one outside – the H2 area seems empty of Palestinians, nor are the settlers moving around. We changed a tire and drove on. All the checkpoints are manned by soldiers sitting in the pillboxes and in their positions. No detainees.
We drove to visit Huda’s kindergarten, picking up Eid from Umm el Hir on the way. A lovely, warm welcome, and we returned home. Everyone we spoke with are watching what’s happening in Egypt…
