Sansana-Meytar crossing

We cross at 7:30, but all the laborers have gone through.

Route 60

Rain and fog, no army, no checkpoints, no people – and its cold.

Hebron

Cold and rainy, schools on vacation, no one outside – the H2 area seems empty of Palestinians, nor are the settlers moving around.  We changed a tire and drove on.  All the checkpoints are manned by soldiers sitting in the pillboxes and in their positions.  No detaineesinfo-icon.

We drove to visit Huda’s kindergarten, picking up Eid from Umm el Hir on the way.  A lovely, warm welcome, and we returned home.  Everyone we spoke with are watching what’s happening in Egypt…
