Further down the path we met the beaten driver. He told us that the policeman had hit him in the face for no reason. We asked the soldiers, but no one had seen the incident. The young man sat and cursed, and seemed angry and aggressive. A soldier arrived, looking for the commander, and he said that there are incidents with the Border Policeman, who is introducing an aggressive atmosphere and assailing passersby. The Border Policeman is not under the command of the checkpoint commander, who cannot move him. We phoned the brigade commander and explained the problem. They promised to deal with it soon.At the lower parking lot, drivers are waiting fruitlessly for a livelihood.A resident of Yabed told us that his daughter, who is studying at the American University in Zabda, has to pay 20 shekels for the journey, and it is more than he can afford, so he asked her this week to stay home because he doesn’t have the money. Meanwhile he makes tea and coffee at the checkpoint for one shekel a cup. Can we help his student daughter finish her study year?At 09:45 We left
