Maqam Nabi Yakin

  Makam Nebi Yakin The large and impressive maqam offers a beautiful view of the Judean desert. According to tradition, it was built at the point where Abraham and Lot stood and watched the Sodom and Gomorrah coup. A military outpost dominates the maqam and the road to the Pani Heber settlement, preventing the residents of the nearby Palestinian town of Bnei Naim from visiting the maqam.
