Etzion DCO: How much time and money does it take to recover a stalled vehicle?
About 10 people were waiting in the waiting room of the DCO. We spoke with a Christian man, who now lives in Australia and owns a thriving business. Years ago, he decided to return to Israel and built a hotel in Bethlehem. Of course, now the hotel is lying empty. But his financial situation, if his car is anything to go by, is good.
His wife and children still live in Australia. We are not sure if he returned permanently or for a visit.
We did not manage to get to the bottom of the other case, even with the help of an translator. His car is legal, but he stopped at a traffic light and the car is now in Kiryat Arba. He can only bail it out in three months! Every day he has to pay about 60 shekels for storage!
A nice source of income for the State of Israel.
The man got his license back.
He says he has eight daughters, three pairs of twins. We didn’t ask him what he had on the truck. The whole story was quite strange.
