We had a long conversation with a lady from Haifa who had come with her cousin to get a magnetic card. She said her cousin had not wanted to come along or in her own card as she was frightened to do so and she also did not want to come in her own car. She said that many people prefer to come with a family member or friend and not alone as they never know what can happen.   There is no need to explain this feeling. 

We asked if the church gives help and we were told that in Bethlehem they do help Christians. 

A lawyer has come here for a client. He needs to speak to the police but they are not here. He spoke to Sylvia who said he should speak to Mickey . 

Today the wait for the magnetic card is short.  At last something positive. But the machine which gives out the numbers is not working and there is a Palestinian inside who was trying to  deal with the situation.  Heavens forbid that one of the army clerks should  leave their arduous tasks  and  come out to make order.
