Etzion DCO: Palestinian called to testify in Jerusalem but did not receive a transit permit
A Palestinian contractor at Beitar Ilit has a Bedouin guard at the site on which he was working. When the latter was arrested, the permit of the contractor was cancelled. He was called to give evidence in Jerusalem and tried to get a permit so as to get to the court but was refused. We told him to speak to Sylvia even though we doubted she would be able to help him.
Palestinians are finding it difficult to get an appointment for a magnetic card. There are “businessmen” who for twenty, thirty shekel can get them an appointment. But people who have been given an appointment at 9 am have only gone in at 2pm.
The waiting room, as usual, was in a state of disarray but one Palestinian found a use for one of the maps lying around.
