A man was phoned at 5 a.m. to bring his two sons in their teens in for questioning. The one son works and gets 100 shekel a day.
Two men from Batir have not been working for a year and a half but the family of the one is well off. They have a flat which they let out and three souvenir shops and sometimes he also finds a job.
Another man has had land taken from him and is not allowed on the land which he has left. The settlers have also stolen property and his fruit. He also has two blind children who were in an institution in Jerusalem but, since the war, they are not allowed entrance because they are such a danger to the State of Israel.
