Al Ezariya, The Container, Zeitim Passage, Abu-Dis Tuesday AM 21/2/2006Yael Y-L, Ora K, Michaela R (reporter)Summary: without any special incidents. Al Ezariya. At the exit there was a short queue, the checking was quick. Most of the time the traffic flowed. One car was checked thoroughly. At the entrance, a blue patrol vehicle. When we returned, there was almost no queue.Container: Sparse traffic, flows.Az-Za’ayyem: On the main road from Ma’ale Adumim to the Mt. Scopus tunnel next to the Az-Za’ayyem checkpoint, there is a yellow sign displayed that declares that only Jews can cross. It must be mentioned that the sign is positioned in a place that one has to make an effort in order to read what is written on it. If we had not been searching in the direction of the sign, we would not have noticed it.The “terminal” is not yet operational, and different operations are being done on it. The soldiers are tanning in the sun. One old Palestinian crosses, without any disturbance.Abu-Dis: A jeep next to the Old Pishpash, but people are crossing without being checked. Quite a bit of traffic. At the bottom, across from the gas station, hidden behind the curve in the road is another jeep, which is checking the luckless ones who encounter them.
