In and around the city heavy present of
blue Police and border police. Next to the Gas station people are
jumping over the wall when no border police jeep is around. The
moment a jeep arrives every movement stops immediately and it
becomes an atmosphere of standby. The main issue of the border
police was to move the Transits from the Gas station up to the
gate. They didn’t check people at all this morning. We met a
jogging man coming out the gate, who looked very strange in this
surrounding. He spoke to us in Hebrew with a heavy American accent
that he is a tourist guide and went to see if the way to
“Elazar grave” is open, because he is bringing tourists
there. He told us: “Isn’t it great that everything is closed
here around? I feel very safe.”
